It’s playoff time and Grubauer will be in net and I expect a near shutout performance from him. On top of that Blues leading scorer David Perron will be OUT. The Avalanche are substantially better in every facet of the game. They are too good on both sides of the puck and have the best goaltender in the game. I don’t like taking puck lines generally in the playoffs but it’s warranted here with the way everything checks out. I expect a 4-1 type game here. At most I think the Blues score two goals TOPS and feel the Avs can without a doubt score 4-6 goals.

Blues have been hurt all year long. Yes, no Perron but everyone is finally healthy. Our big guy Parayko is back and so is Taresenko!! Alot of value with the Blues!

Wish they bring that back . The technology
didn't impact the weight or movement
of the puck .

Games so fast and shot at 100+ mph, lot of times

Watching this game right now. Avs do not impress me. Look like one of those teams who wouldn't know what to do if you punch them in the mouth. Not sure though, haven't watched hockey in a long time. I grew up on the old Red Wings and Avs rivalry. This Avs team looks like a bunch of pussies compared to that avs team.

Avs have heavily outplayed Blues from what I've seen. MacKinnon is all over the ice.

This bet is game 1. This one is gonna be a loss but still came out ahead on the day. As a Blues fan I am hoping they can turn it around. Blues played them tough during the regular season.

Went into 3rd period with a +280 play
on the road all squared up at 1 a piece

That opening goal in first minute really stunned
them I think .

Yeah good point. Blues just haven't been healthy all year. I feel like they have the pieces to win. Just have to put it all together. But your right didn't look good tonight.

And yeah for sure man!!! We have had some awesome moments as St.louis fans. The greatest world series game ever. Game 6! The famous David Freese homerun. And then the year Blues won the cup they were the worst team in the league first half of the season. Truly an amazing season. Nothing beats playoff hockey!
