I worked on Mulberry street for 20 years in little Italy.
I worked on Ditmars blvd in Astoria a big Greek street feast in the 90s

I worked all the Italian feasts through out all the NY boroughs in the 80s & 90s,
Carmine Ave in the village,Arthur Ave in the Bronx,18th Ave in Bensonhurst Bkln.

The biggie was the feast of San Gennaro every September on Mulberry.


Anybody who knew anybody was running numbers...those were the days!!

what did you do at the feasts? i always went to them all as a kid. i still go to mt caramel and san gennaro.

that is a small world. my grandmother was in long island city. i was in astoria on steinway a lot.

Belmont is what we currently enjoy. He also likes Aqueduct. I never have been to that one. Belmont is like 10 minutes by highway from us so it is an easy place to just decide to go on a whim.

I loved Sports Interaction. Nice book, good look and easy to navigate.

Right after Mulberry we would shoot on over to Long Island city and work that feast as well.
