#2lol, this stuff is as old as live betting itself. Disclosure, I only watched the first minute because I know about this.
And yes, plenty had the patience to do it.
We tried it a few times, with someone at the game itself.
The live trading software started pausing betting though, made it a rough go. Not even sure if you can really get aeay with it anymore.Comment -

I'm actually surprised they are still talking about it in 2019.
Maybe it works again, for some small live providers or something. Maybe it works overseas, I doubt it, but who knows?Comment -

Always wondered if courtsiding could be applied to sports other than tennis.Comment -

#7long ago you could do it with basketball too. You could get the best of runs sometimes.
But they started pausing the lines at key times and pretty much squashed it. They've come a long way for sure, like the books in general.Comment -

#10the state of Victoria tried to make a law to stop it at the Australian Open tennis
but it didnt work out. The one guy ever charged beat the wrap

Is courtsiding itself really that disruptive (maybe to the books, lol) or was there more to the story as it involved a potential crime syndicate?
...Victoria Police’s Sporting Integrity Intelligence Unit and Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit have been working with Tennis Australia officials to weed out people seeking to "disrupt and corrupt’’ the tournament.
Deputy Commissioner Graham Ashton said police believe the accused man came to Australia especially for the Open.
He said the quick arrest should serve as a warning to other crime syndicates thinking of coming to Australia to corrupt the betting system...Comment
