The Los Angeles Angels’ decision to designate Albert Pujols for assignment this week isn’t sitting well with some of the Major League Baseball legend’s longtime contemporaries.

David Ortiz took to Instagram on Friday to express his disapproval of Pujols’ release, suggesting the three-time National League MVP deserved to be treated better in his exit from the Halos.

Even LaRussa knew he was juicing.... but I see where you're coming from. Sorry... I wouldn't let hin in the hall of fame. Aren't all of the players during that time... "not in the hall" because of all the allegations? Pujols shouldn't be excluded.

My guess is that the Angels went to him and told him they were going to sit him and he forced their hand. He's not ready to retire and still thinks he's an every day player. This is honestly one of the best moves the Angels have made in years. That guy is a double play machine and a rally killer.

Started 11 of them, PH in 5.

In the 16 games he's been with LAD they are

In the 11 games he's started LAD is 7 and 4
Funny thing about that is when LAD first got him they went on a mad win streak.
First 7 games Albert started for the Dodgers they were 7 and 0
Then they lost the next four with Pujols as the starting 1B

The Dodgers are 9 and 7 overall since Pujols arrived,
( 7 and 4 as a starter)

Pujols as a Dodger.

I could be wrong too. I looked at his game log and just assumed if he got 3+ ab's that he started the game. Double checked anything under 3 ab's but 3 or more I didnt check

It's not a big thing at all but I'm going on the spread sheet of the games LAD has played since he came over.
Anyways CG (Complete games) and GS (games started) under the inngs column equal 11.
