Was taking a 4am deuce when I noticed a motion detection alert. At first I thought it was probably a coyote so I clicked to check it out. Some scumbag in a uhaul pickup truck doing a 30 point turn like Austin powers just to get right next to my mailbox and right in front of the camera. Guy got away with my ADT and Spectrum bill. Nice haul! Mb he’ll do the right thing and pay them off for me to repent. Guy seemed ****** up. I bet he hit dozens of mailboxes tonight. Really kicking myself that I didn’t think to click the speaker button and call him a scumbag thief while he was still there. Welcome to LA.. Posted the vid to the ring neighborhood app. No chance I call the cops and waste my time over nothing. I’ll let others do the heavy lifting if they want. Got the truck plate and his face in the vid. Nice way to start the day lol. Guess I’m awake now. Hammering Fognini over 22 now

I posted the vid to a heavy traffic area on the app. Hundreds of uptight Hollywood Hills old ladies are scrolling that thing everyday. Many package thief’s and homeless tweekers posted on the main page. If someone else got robbed, they’ve got the video now. 🤷*♂️

How do you know what was in your mailbox and why was it sitting in there all night?

I quickly looked inside the box on my way to scoop dinner earlier and saw it was just bills and decided I’d get it on the way back, but then had my hands full and forgot. My girl also has it set up where the post office emails her a copy of every letter delivered which I had never heard of until an hr ago.

Just go to USPS.com and sign up for your daily delivery notices. It shows on your e mail as USPS daily delivery ...your daily digest. Pretty useful, u can check in the AM what your daily mail deliveries should be

This... The police may be overwhelmed in many places but they are only as good as the info people feed them. They need tips from citizens to do their job. Send them a copy of the clip. Takes you 1 minute. That info could be crucial in building a case against a habitual perp.

Back in the day, I've sent thousands to my family in the mail on several occasions. Especially next day mail. Now, too easy to use paypal friends and family, venmo, zelle, etc.

It's actually a very small problem. There's about a half million postal workers that deliver a shitload of mail every day. Less than 0.05% of workers are involved in theft. That's 1 for every 5,000 employees. USPS has very sophisticated measures to catch postal thieves. Talk to any criminal and they all know not to fukk with the mail.

Oh yeah, there's always a rogue worker. My drug friends would tell me of their drug friends who had problems in certain cities where a postal thief was taking their loot. But none of my friends ever directly had stuff stolen. Most postal thieves first start off small then they move to bigger and frequent. They all get pinched in the end. They usually spend A LOT of time in the pen. A LOT of time. Then the drug guys can start sending again. They start shipping small samples before going big. Prescription drugs, codeine syrup was huge a few years back. Guys used to ship a lot of meth but the USPS started cracking down hard. I don't keep up with the current trends today.

I have the post office email setup as well. Works great. It lets me know what’s important, what I need to hide and what my wife bought and is trying to hide.
