I feel like I won rotating out of the MLB Contrarian Fund before a crash.

Much of that was rotated into the NBA Contrarian Fund (not posted this year at SBR) which has been sideways and rangebound.

So at least the money was protected from the drop, but I didn't get the bump I was also hoping to get. Such is the markets, sometimes it's hard to win even when you do everything right.

Of course, avoiding losses is also winning as a penny saved is a penny earned.

Yes, it’s a winning strategy long term. Are there bumps? Sure. Does he win sometimes? Sure. Long term- he’s the worst sports bettor I have ever seen and it’s not even close. I’ll proudly be a dumb shit and take any heat from any poster over giving him shit. The results say everything I need to say.

I’m up $27,461 alone fading him since October 2020. That doesn’t include his random shit like the draft bet, half his made up player props and just fake bets overall that nobody can find. Mostly sides/totals and real player props in NFL, NCAAB, Soccer and NBA. He is down 65 units alone in 2.5 weeks NBA. That’s been incredible. Soccer atrocious. I wish he would get his MLB thread going. If I would have said fukk it long ago and just bet $1k per fade I’d be up over $100k in 6 months. He’s that bad.
