Kiper didn't like him. It hurt Carrier's feelings, and it crushed him. GMAFB.

He's knowledgeable. He knows every player in the draft and can talk about them. He is the guy that invented the concept and has been on because he is opinionated.

The best Kiper moment was when he called out the Colts for drafting Trev Alberts instead of Trent Dilfer. The Colts GM went ballastic. Neither turned out to be any good but Dilfer had a better career than Alberts so chalk one up for Kiper.

That's the stuff that gets you on TV.

It is pretty well established that NFL teams are terrible at drafting and would literally do as well drawing top-rated guys out of a hat. Hard to fault Kiper for not being any better.

He won a SB, believe very next year was not even on the Team and was a backup for another team, lol.

Played great in the Ravens' run to the Super Bowl. Billick brought in Grbac to seek out bigger QB numbers. Didn't work out.

ESPN is a joke network overall. I turned it on today and they were celebrating the 20th anniversary of mike Vick getting drafted 1st or some shit. Like who fkn cares. I turned it off right away.

Vick was big shit before he got popped killing dogs. Love him or hate him, Vick put a lot of butts in seats. I use to go to Falcon's games before and you could walk up and get a ticket. After Vick, you couldn't get a ticket wherever he played. The NFL made a lot of money on Vick, TV contracts, advertisements. He was more marketable than Mahomes, dare I say, possibly Brady. Vick might have been the most marketable NFL athlete ever. Then he had to do dumb shit.

He was a big deal but hardly worth a “celebration” 20 years later. I don’t blame him for the dog stuff even though I don’t like it. Just seems very unimportant when you just had a first round of the draft the night before and the nfl mvp could be playing in a different city the next year for the first time ever.
