They had it all set up for the SB last season. Bucs shredded that packer-d, and I don’t blame him either wanting out, after being sacked all day long on his home turf
Have to figure it was his best and last shot with the packers

If they trade Rodgers, it isn't happening until June. He's a $31 million dead money cap hit if he's traded before June 1st. He's $14 million hit after June 1st.

I agree, but what is the angle on him floating this today? Just starving for attention or some actual angle?

The Packers have a great offensive line, they should move on and save the 35 million, Rodgers has done almost nothing the playoffs since win the super bowl nearly 10 years ago. Many quarterbacks could be successful with jones, adams, and that offensive line.

So one player makes an entire o-line great? What’s the excuse for the other 4 guys getting completely dominated?

Obviously the Pack wants to dump him to an AFC team, most likely the Raiders. If he is going to go to the 49ers, who does Green Bay want at #3, because that is who the 49ers will pick tonight.

NO and YES, or something like that anyway.

This according to a dude at CBS 2 hours ago...

...Rodgers does not have a no-trade clause in his contract. But he also has no more guaranteed money left on his deal, which included a $57.5 million signing bonus that at the time was the largest in NFL history.

The Packers are positioning themselves as though they have leverage, but it all depends on if Rodgers truly wants to play football again. Retirement isn't completely out of the question for Rodgers, especially after his stint guest-hosting Jeopardy! went well and with hopes that it could turn into a full-time gig down the road.

My sources indicate that Rodgers still wants to play, though. And he can easily dictate where he wants to go because a contract would have to be worked out wherever he would land...

Broncos become strong rumor for Rogers right before draft, only to be quelled quickly.

Someone sat on this story till a few hours before the draft - interesting... But he'll be a Packer through this season at least. Huge cap number this year but it eases quite a bit in 2022. That would be the time to move him, especially with a solid 2021 under his belt.

Many quarterbacks could be successful with jones, adams, and that offensive line.
This guy? Does this dumb MF even watch sports? Tampa had him running for his life the whole game. Now granted Bagliera or whatever his name is got hurt, but still. Also do Jones and Adams play defense? Did they stop SF from running for 225+ on GBs defense the year before in the playoffs? Did GB provide Rodgers any defense when Kaepernick embarrassed them in the playoffs or when Kurt Warner beat Rodgers like 44-41? Hell no. Did Rodgers draft a replacement QB and RB with their first 2 picks? The 2 goddamn positions where they're already loaded??? Morino....I swear nobody can be this penetrating clueless

No. He doesn't have much time left and he knows it. Brees didn't make it to 42-43. Thats not common. He'll go host Jeopardy. He's done in GB! If they thought they had him then they wouldn't be flying out to California to talk to him, etc

You can have Wentz and maybe a good LB and a couple of 1st rounders. Indy has the cap space for Rodgers. I'm sure Elway can make it happen too. He's going to the AFC
