Traded all the way up to #2 to grab him, then bailed out on him leaving him for Belichick to pick at #15.

Of course not but you get my point.

Traded up to 3 allegedly to get him, but maybe was a smokescreen. He's not the first guy to slide in a draft. And before SF had that supposed interest, mid 1st was really around where he expected to go. Mac Jones was the 5th best QB in this draft, maybe 4th, although he has certainly landed himself in a nice situation.

The 49ers just killed their chances for the next 5 year by giving away the farm, and taking a guy with exactly ZERO experience playing against any type of decent team. Grade "F". The Raiders run a close 2nd for bad picks, but don't they always? The big winners were the Bears, who had the potentially 2nd best QB in the draft given to them for a few picks, and the Pats, who once again managed to piss off all of you haters by getting a solid QB prospect without having to do a thing. Atlanta joins those two in getting an "A" grade for taking the best player in the draft.
