I don't believe the nba will go away or fold, I think these guys will find that their ideology won't sell or be effective. I watch lots of NBA and I don't want it to go away. I make a living via sports so I'm rooting for success, but this insane and illogical movement isn't helping At All.

They'll get $4.5b -$5.5b and that including giving up all streaming rights and the TV players are allowed to air 100% premo nationally games.

The reason the NBA gets these big national TV deals despite ratings sucking is because the league has super teams w national appeal, and there is very little interest in regional teams (or $$ in regional rights, unlike MLB which makes a ton of dough team by team regionally).

In addition, NBA sponsorships are coordinated w national broadcasting so it aligns w marketing (much like NFL) whereas both NHL and MLB have many individual sponsorships, almost half being competitor's of the leagues national sponsorship.

But that $75b figure is truly optimistic and unfounded.
