I love how people on here want to say the nba sucks because of the social justice messages. Let’s take all the threads from SBR before any of it and you’ll clearly see the nba product is just not that fun to watch.
Too many fouls, too many games that feel shady, too many stoppages. Horrible game flow.
But ok let’s make it about that. Ratings were up at the beginning of the year but the product along with star players constantly resting is what makes it uninteresting.
Everyone knows the nba season doesn’t matter much.

Also the ratings plunge isn’t going to matter apparently because the next broadcast deal is suppose to be worth about 72 billion which is triple the last broadcast deal. So I think they are doing just fine without people crying that they get worked up seeing social messages.

Not a shock - Hard to watch, no defense, players act like it's a pickup at the local playground - Unwatchable unless you have a few bucks on it. If they give a crap in the playoffs, actually play defense, and stop launching constant 3's, I might be intrigued.
