you are right. i would almost never lay ML with the dodgers, esp when -250 or higher. even -1.5 is questionable. they are the only team i feel comfortable taking -2, -2.5 consistently.

I don't jump ugly on someone who uses a -300 favorite with a -180 favorite in a parlay

-300 and -180 by the way pays even money (1.07 to be exact)
This way if your -300 does go down the toilet you're only out 300 not 100.
There are some advantages in a parlay using heavy chalk.
Some disadvantages too but I got other things to do right now lol.

Opening day put me down around 4 units, and I took the -1 lines so I didn't have to lay that ML juice, and I still feel like the -1 lines were juiced. It's really not worth laying these juicy ML's on any given night.

You know me, others know me as well.
You know I love the run line when with an ace on the road most of the time. (not always)

Any-hoo as recent as five years ago the line makers would almost always hang s 'soft' number rl road team.
Like say deGrom at Pitt for instance. The line would be like deGrom (road) -190 and the run line would be like +110 or +100, something like that. Wicked soft. I used to jump on that shit like crazy.

The line makers got wise.
Now using the same deGrom on the road it Pitt, you're lucky to get a -125 on run line these days.
