    New Jersey Sportsbook new player
Guys I’m from North Carolina and heading to a wedding in New Jersey in July. I’ve never opened an account with any of the sportsbooks so I’m looking to take advantage of the new player promos.... my idea.... my girlfriend will be traveling with me to the wedding and a couple sportsbooks are offering deposit $1,000 get a $1,000 free play if your bet loses. I’m thinking about opening a separate account for each of us... depositing $1,000 into each account.... let’s say the Yankees are playing the Mets and the over under is 10.5.... I’ll take the under she takes the over... so 1 account will be at $1,900 after the juice and the other account will be at $0 but will have a free play of $1,000.... the next night do the same thing with the free play.... I take a over and she takes the under in the same game for $1,000. No way we can lose and I’ll make $900.... has anyone done/tried this before??

    Been there

    done that

dont do it if you’re from the same household

dont do it with William hill unless you’re planning on playing with the winnings a few times rolled over

you account A, gf Account B

          1) account A wins nite 1 and at 1900. account B loses and at zero. freeplay match kicks in and now you have a freeplay of 1000 in account B.

2A) account A wins nite 2. now at 2800. account B loses freeplay and at zero. overall you made 800 for investing 2K.

          or

2B) account B wins nite 2. now you are at 900 cash in account B. account A down to 900. problem is you probably have a rollover in account B before withdrawing.

Wont work. Also many of the books now take a few days to credit the free plays because it prevents those that are only in the state for 24-48 hours from abusing the promos.

Also- NEVER bet against his/her accounts. Youll just end up getting back home and having the accounts closed and funds confiscated .

Better off just using several books with your own name and bet against yourself with different books. You may even catch differing lines

Thanks for the heads up guys. I wasn’t sure if this strategy would work or not. If other people had success with it I figured I would do it and take the guaranteed profit.
