One thing is for sure is that you’re not gonna see anywhere near the scoring you had the last couple years. Greens have that fast “shinnecock” brown look to it. I’d be surprised if someone wins at -10 or better.

Yeah I think Saturday they’re gonna get storms. Next two days could get wild on greens. And wind blowing today is only gonna make it tougher. I’ve never seen it look so brown on the surface.

Just can’t believe how brown these greens are. I know it’s been a dry spring but damn...it looks like the Open Chanpionship.

Simpson, Reed are guys to watch because they are US Open kinda players. Spieth, too. They like the fast surfaces and tough conditions.

Hope Bryson can make a comeback but when it’s like this, you can’t bomb your way to birdies. You have to find ways to grind pars.

Don’t be so sure. Rose has a lot of experience. He threw away the Masters a few years ago so he’s got a lot of hunger. These kind of conditions favor the smart veterans like Rose who have played Augusta when it’s been like this before.

I just don’t know if his back will hold up and rust will settle in given he’s taken a lot of time off. But he’s got the ability to keep it going.
