Very good value but hard to win with his lack of length.

Length is such an advantage though. Spieth needs to play perfect.

Guys like JT, DJ, Dechamblow, Koepka can just bomb it and make up ground on the par 5s.

That being said Spieth has a good track record here because of his approach and putting/scrambling stats.

Don’t play there that much anymore so someone else might be able to answer this. I would like to know how if it’s an option.

Speith loves this course and at one point I believe had the lead or co-lead at the end of something remarkable like 10 of 12 rounds over three years.

He’s what they used to call sneaky long. When he’s shaping his tee shots well, like he is now, Augusta is a place someone like Speith can hit it long because he knows how to get all the fairway rolls.

And then of course there’s the short game.

I'm not going to argue taking him and at +5000 it's an absolute steal and I'd take for sure.

I'm just saying in theory he should have a disadvantage being a shorter length player than DJ or JT.

It's hard to win back to back but the best player at winning b2bs in the last few decades outside of Tiger is Spieth.

I've been thinking of taking JT/Koepka/Spieth/Morikawa combo myself.

                  Good Luck Jay.

Just picked up Spieth as well at +1215, among others.

Took him Top 5, top 10 and top 20.

                  Let's cash it!

good luck y'all but I'd fade Speith this week
he's had good showings against weak fields, including a very weak group last week w/ his win
every single player in the top 25 of the world golf rankings is playing this week

there's "value" lurking in the 35-1 to 55-1 range; reed, simpson, cam smith, matt fitzpatrick, Im, fleetwood, etc.

Tough to win two weeks in a row. I think Spieth will contend but there are other guys I like.

                        Going with BDC at +1100
                        Patrick Cantlay at +2200
                        Paul Casey at +5000

Westwood tempting as well. I’ll see where he stands though after round 1.

Always dangerous in any major and is playing well.

Spieth a bit of a liability for the books now.

He was getting hit before he won last week.

Let's see if he can keep it going. Navyblue is right, it's tough to win two weeks in a row.

He put together a great campaign to win a major and partied a little after the success.

Everyone thought he was going to become a Johnny Manziel...

Public was on him before his win.

Now it's just piling on, I got zero value with him, perceived or real.

I think he either contends for the win or doesn't even make top 20.

                                          Neither would surprise me.

Spieth at 50-1 like Jay has is a different story.

That was the time to buy, if there was one.

Yeah, on top of that the actual "structure" for lack of a better word changed when US books started operating everywhere.

This Spieth bet I have is like my only golf bet this year so far.

I have to completely revamp the way I handicap golf because of the way the information I use is given out.

It's still a work in progress for me and would be much easier if I were constantly in Nevada picking up casino golf sheets that have field bets on them.

Had someone getting them for me but COVID changed some of that.

Cincy if you move to Vegas and get me pics of those sheets I will teach some inner workings of the whole thing.

                                                    Greens are really, really fast.

You need a good approach and putter to win this week.

JT, Spieth, Rahm all set up well.
