I noticed something fishy early on the tournament. I didn't pay much attention to it but now I have to mention it and see what others think.
There were a lot of hype radu during qual. matches, and then we hear brady withdrew (replaced by voegele) and the reason: unknown. No you have to understand that at that point radu did not achieve anything special so why so much hype? I find it strange cause i've been following brady and her practices, she was in good form, hitting hard serve in practice. Normally american players who are in good form would wana participate at least ...so why did she withdrew like that?

Edit: also, radu is the fav for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year. (she hasn't won the US open yet!)

Taking a flyer on FAA tomorrow at (+425) against Med, he is playing his best tennis of his career, They only had 1 other meeting 3 years ago and FAA played him tight, I think FAA matches up well against him. I just think that ML is way way to high.

only women's tennis I suspect something prob happens like this in women's golf too. those singular sports where form is so important nerves get the best of players.

funny u mention that I tried to see if her parents have deep pockets lol yea no reason to hype in qualies like u say. she does have an outstanding record thus far though 53-10 on hard and 96-26 overall

Goodluck on that bet. Tread lightly. +425 is quite low for 5 setter. But that's just like ...my opinion

Everyone is just worried about Felix choking like he hasn't won a set in 7 or 8 finals, better to bet live as when he's super nervous he just can't fight through it in all those finals he got whooped

I just think his game can match up well with Med, his serve has been much improved, I think FAA has all the talent in the world and he is still pretty young, he has to break through at some point, I really think he can get it done tomorrow, luckily it isn't the finals tomorrow lol. Now can Med win in straights of course. Not going huge on the play but i think 4/1 is good value.

We just have the unknown with Med vs FAA, 2 top players that havent played each other, i think Med will have trouble with a guy who is almost as tall as him but has a stronger server and moves better, Now yes Med is elite and gets a ton of balls back but i just think its a spot that FAA feels confident in, he spoke after his last match he new exactly what happen and talked about how close the match was last time thet played which was over 3 years ago, it sounded like he had confidence he could beat him, he new the exact score. I could have told you those were top 3 before the tourney even stared, thats basically every tournament these 3 are in for the next decade lol.
