No Johnny, you couldn't be further from the truth. My half-ass dad jokes whipped up on your try-hard dumb jock joke. For starters, your joke didn't even make sense... Now the Flock of Seagulls joke, on the other hand, was ace. That's where you began to see me hit my stride after a couple warmups. That's the one that left onlookers in stitches, struggling to keep their coffee down, doubled over in fits of hysteria, disturbing the neighbors, and alarming the family dog.
Don't get a false sense of pride just because Fatty threw you a couple of pity points. He's a political science geek, not a jokesmith. Humor is practically a foreign language to him. He'll deliver a zinger about as often as he posts a functional link.

I'm sure if a teammate didn't want to fly, he'd have had no problem with it. I don't blame him; I hate flying and never do so unless abolutely necessary.
