#8Yes
They have 4 games left at most
You wanna make $$$ so today you lay 60k on the chalk, in elite 8 you'd lay 60k on the chalk, final 4 you'd lay 60k, etc you win 10k if they win it all, you'd wind 30k or so if they lose...you can't lose hereComment -

#9No. Hedging crushes your own odds. If you can't take the sweat of a longshot then don't make the bet in the first place.
Beyond that, it's especially counterproductive to hedge the bet now when Loyola is a 3: 1 favorite to advance to the next round. At least wait until they're a dog or smaller favorite to do it.Comment -

#13I'd just bet enough to win my original bet back and martingale until the championship. Wouldn't consider a larger hedge until then.Comment -

#24This ticket is currently worth about 15k. If you don't hedge you are betting 15k on Loyola Chicago.
I would bet somewhere in the neighborhood of 10k on Oregon St. If Oregon St. wins you get 25k. If they lose you have a ticket worth somewhere in the 40k range.
Never let such a great future bet go to waste.Comment -

#27Hate to jinx it but totally forgot about the propswap angle. Based on my rather tenuous job situation, I wouldn't be opposed to selling these for 40 cents on the dollar ($92.2K) on April 6 if that's still an option.

#30Never understood the philosophy of letting a $50.00 ride??? The point is trying to make a return on the initial wager... Yes... you start hedging.Comment -
