What's the advantage of getting the Amazon gift card? Bitcoin can be spent on anything, Amazon restricts you. Unless the Amazon gift card was cheaper (which I think is actually the reverse!), don't see any debate here.

Honestly have no idea how to make purchases with BTC anywhere... can you do it on Amazon or other major retailers? So to me the debate was: $100 in Amazon gift card to make purchases, OR, $100 in BTC to either leave in Blockchain to grow, or throw it in a sportsbook to gamble with.
