Worst coached game of the tournament thus far and that includes watching Georgetown play like they didn’t know why the 3 point line was on the floor. Georgetown played like it was the 80’s, but Texas playing a game in the 50’s is so two generations ago

That Abilene Christian defensive effort...there were no excuses for Texas and no reason they couldn’t out man AC but that fukking effort...one of my favorite games I’ve ever seen. 100% max effort on defense every second. Amazing. Texas doesn’t exactly play beautiful basketball but they were absolutely forced into looking like shit tonight. They had no excuses either. Best team Shaka’s had there, Big 12 champs, played with guts all year and while not pretty there was every indication that they’d finally turned the corner. Plus the kid who sucks at free throws burying two, PLANTING his feet at that line and focusing during the break, draining them for the win. Unbelievable upset and effort by AC even if it wasn’t a huge betting line upset. Texas had no business losing this game. One of the best times I’ve had watching a college basketball game and I had no bet on this

I hate the whistle happy refs. He tomahawked his arm on the rebound 100% foul. I believe it should have been a 1 and 1 though which would have been more pressure.
