Props to the Hawkeyes! Watched the finals, just two comments:

1) I wonder if Lee wrestled thru another knee injury 2nite. Story was that he dinged it in a previous match.

2) Iowa won but...How good is the Penn State room???? OMG, 4 titles from young guys. This title-race wasn't even supposed to be close.

1) Think he pissed at DeSanto for not finishing the guy off.

2) Certainly difficult at times.

It was a no-brainer that Iowa would win. The fact that PennSt was that close THIS YEAR is amazing.

Not sure about that. In COVID protocol, there's not much hand contact. In his defense, he was dealing w/ an injury that forced him out of remainder of tournament.

Have to say it one more time. Spencer Lee's greatness can't be taken for granted. Guy is a beast.

Wouldn't bet against him, pal.

Guy won world titles at the youth level. Sky's the limit, as long as his knees are ok.

Cael had them ready to go...those guys looked liked they could go 14 mins. Great tournament by Iowa..Lee already said he's coming back, with his injuries the Olympic run is probably gone this year. If he can hold 57KG (with his body frame he should), no doubt he'll be the favorite going forward. Curious to see how his tilts will hold up on the world stage.

Props to Ferrari for winning as a true frosh in a weight class full of big boys. You rarely used to see that at the college or high school level. I can only imagine what his dad put him through growing up
