*I always think of Norfolk State's conference as a dangerous low-seed draw.

If u go back in time, Hampton knocked off a very good Iowa State team. Norfolk State knocked off 2-seed Missouri.

That Virginia region produces A LOT of great athletes. Think Ronald Curry, Michael Vick, Allen Iverson.

Players in the Norfolk State conference are often ACC-talent that couldn't get into the ACC school academically. Think about it. UNC, Duke, Virginia...they're all great schools.

A team like Norfolk St gets into the tournament. And there's not a wide talent gap to the major schools.

thanks Chuck!...it got a little bit dicey but we got both the cover and outright win.......Norfolk ST is catching 33 points vs. Gonzaga on Saturday!...damn, that's a shitload of points for a scrappy team like Norfolk...Norfolk got very sloppy in the 2nd half and blew a 19 point lead vs. APP ST but they were able to recover and win the game...it's definitely gives us something to ponder about if we decide to take the points or not.
