Different Ncaa Tournament Schedule: First Four on Thurday

I will miss the usual Thursday/Friday first round. But if this is what it takes to have a tournament?

Thursday March 18: First Four
Friday March 19 and Saturday March 20: First Round
Sunday March 21, and Monday March 22: Second Round
Saturday March 27, and Sunday March 28: Sweet 16
Monday March 29, and Tuesday March 30: Elite 8

So they are saying that teams who made the tournament but there is a positive test, they will call in a replacement team. So the replacement team would need to test before arriving then after arriving. Negative tests before arriving, then someone tests positive after arriving, then what? Just start forfeiting games? This gonna be the most bizarre tournament situation ever.

Yeah, that would lead to an uncontested game and the other team moves on. Very bizarre. How they select replacement/standby teams is another weird deal.
I always bet a few tourney futures on regions. Not this year. Not gonna risk having a future bet lose because of a positive test

The VP of NCAA basketball said earlier this week that if a team tests positive after arriving then they will test all, and if they have 5 available healthy players, they can play.

Nobody is forfeiting anything unless their whole team tests positive. as long as minimum of 5 players are healthy, they are allowed to play.
