I'm a Giants fan and I'm a huge Bumgarner fan but I don't think he gets in. He might go down as one of the best postseason pitchers of all time but I don't think that'll be enough to get him into the HOF.

Hard to say. He’s remarkable in the post season but not dominant in regular season. He has comparable numbers to some guys that are already in.....but it’s probably gonna be a no.

I tend to measure greatness in games that matter it’s a shame they don’t take this more into account

Great postseason runs for a 5 year stretch, but the career isn't very impressive, the WAR isn't impressive and he doesn't have any personal hardware/ awards

Zero chance. He is 120-96 lifetime. He has never finished in the top 3 for Cy Young voting. If he wins another 100 games, and a Cy Young or two, he could be in consideration..... but as of now, he isn't even a fringe contender.

His ERA and WHIP are better than Nolan Ryan and he hit 19 homers and a postseason legend. Lynn Swann made NFL HOF off playoffs only he barely caught a ball in the regular season.

i'm more interested to see if he shows up in shape and can get his velocity back, he fell off a cliff last year but there were red flags towards the end of his Giants tenure

i think all of his years have caught up. he has to be more crafty.
as of now i don't think he gets into the hall of fame.

they they have nearly identical stats and accomplishments
that is how dumb it is to think Bumgarner will even get even 10% of the votes needed

He got off to a good start towards it, but 2014 was 7 years ago. What has he done since?
