Djoker has to be cheap here, right? Elite pro athletes have great ability to shake off injury. Much better than we think.

dnt know what you're implying here... it really depends on the type of injury they are facing... some may come back stronger others may struggle with challenger tourneys.
Venus was injured , took MTO (15+minutes) and continued to play & lost. Circumstances that fall under a "retired" match may include: Cannot continue due to injury or illness.

all im saying is we need to watch djokovic & barty closely, and by that i really mean watching the odds!

Not really implying anything. One thing about tennis:

*Only A FEW people on the planet know the REAL EXTENT of injuries.

Maybe the player and his trainer. And I'm saying that once u get the adrenaline going...a world-class athlete like Djokovic can perform a lot better than people think.
