To be honest, it was somewhat of a blowhard statement (my original one about Diego, hence the lol in referring back to it), but I only rate Diego highly - as in him having a good shot to go deep into a tournament - if he is absolutely mowing guys down: winning his serve and theirs with ease*...I see him a lot like I saw Ferrer. He is not a big serve guy who can take it easy and win 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 without giving me much worry.

Now you combine me not being blown away by his form (aka score) and I am going to start to have major doubts on a court as fast as this and I am going to look for an oppo to take a dog with + money. Only here and at Wimbledon would I really take this approach.

* for him this can be wearing guys down on every point

Doesn’t this happen all the time with Novak? Fakes an injury because he’s getting tired and afraid to lose. Gets a back rub from trainer and all of a sudden he’s rested and the other guy starts choking.
