Nunge is a hella player when he's on. And never gets over 15-to 18 minutes a game and it still does not make any sense at all?
6-11 1/2 and plays solid D, shoots threes fairly consistent, blocks shots, rebounds better than all starters with minutes played.
He was 3 of 4 threes in the brief time he played in the 1st half, so coach, be sure NOT to start him the 2nd half.

Whatever the reasons for this loss, I think the handwriting was on the wall with those 2 previous losses and this one just maybe the final blow to Iowa's chances of ever playing solid basketball for 40 minutes consistently this season.
Garza was running on empty tonight and this is only college defense. Wow, look for him to go #3 or less in his next season of basketball.

I have to disagree. Those consistent 3 whites are not good enough on defense so they must make up for that glaring weakness with superior three shooting.
Wooden would say, "boys, defense must come before those on and off again threes."

Yes, his two sons played 40 minutes total, getting 11 points and little else, yet, Nunge only played 23 minutes and had a great all-around night with 18 pnts.
