Sad. I always enjoyed listening to Marty talk to the media and speeches to his teams. He was a master motivator.

If you are fairly healthy regardless of age
Go very low carb (<50g or lower) per day... Get your body running on ketones
Thank Sammy later

An uncle of mine passed at 91 after suffering from this disease for several years. I know first hand how difficult it can be for the family members who are caretakers. As a general rule once you enter hospice your days on earth are limited. For my father who suffered from diabetes it was about a week. Hospice assisted via medication to speed up his passing.
Marty may pass on Sunday.

Guy should be in the Hall of Fame easily. 200-plus wins, 615 winning percentage, and he revived 3 teams from last place, 4 if you count his one year with Washington.
Who were Marty's quarterbacks? Kosar, Gannon, Montana on his last legs, a young Rivers, Elvis Grbac? Not the worst list, but Montana was just about done and Rivers was too young to win in the playoffs that one years.

Damn that sucks. I remember seeing Marty driving around SD in his modest cop cruiser. Can't remember his vanity plate - maybe peavy remembers.
For those who aren't aware, a hospice diagnosis is for those deemed to live 6 months or less. Some live longer, but a sad situation no doubt.

Sad...maybe it is time to start creating threads about people who are living, cuz it appears everyone else is dying.

It’s terrible to get old
Starting at about age 50 every five years You start to gradually go down-in all the different categories

Take collagen peptides powder mixed in tart cherry juice. Will keep you young. People don't believe I'm 55.

it was much different. i remember being a kid and always feeling the teams who were good were light years ahead of the bad teams.
