How often is a game manipulated by refs/coaches/players for the spread?

I have been in a betting sports scandal mood , watched the BC story in the 70's,
The Donaghy era, kings Lakers.
The ASU point shaving scandal.

There is alot more that we dont know about, correct?
Some people say rigged every game, some say be on the right side of the fix.

How often is this happening?

Is there people in gambling trouble re paying debts that we don't know about?
Our refs really conrolling games ? Yes

For me my worst crooked performance I seen last year was Miami Ok St bowl game.
The refs absolutely called a one sided game and had Twitter and social media going crazy . But there is no proof or nothing ever happens.

dont forget in the superbowl with pitt and seattle nc state here had a pt shaving thing in basketball yrs ago too, but it happen more in the small college games , where most players are not going to the next level and will have to get out and get a normal job.

The Eagles have been bad the past 2+ years. Bad teams do stupid stuff. Incompetence can look like rigged.

Football is full of incompetency in the ref’s penalty calling.

You just have to hope your on the right side when the game is being manipulated..

I know that occasionally there are fixes, but sometimes refs just have a bad game just like any players, and do get lots of calls wrong. It happens but when it does everyone automatically assumes 'fix'. Normally the people shouting fix are doing so at a call they have had the opportunity to watch several times from different angles at a variety of different speeds, slow-mo etc. The ref has had to make the call with one angle at full speed in a split second. Does that make it a fix if they get it wrong? Not as often as people will have you believe.
