I just suffered an even worse bad beat...just posted it in my picks thread...had Georgia Tech (+6.5) and the fukkin' bastards foul DOOK with 0:04 seconds left when they were trailing by 6 points!!...ball game was over!!...0 chance to win!...absolutely no need to foul at that point and time!...and of'course he nails a FT and the Blue Devils win by 7!...

Mine was worse, no question. UK led by 2 with the ball and under 4 to go. Alot of trash got us to Bama up 9 with under 10 seconds, UK ball. UK gets shot blocked with about 5 seconds. Alabama throws ball down court and lays it in with 1 second. Another tough beat in nhl, had blues -1.5 and regulation at +320 and +190 for 500 a piece. Up 3-1 after 1, up 4-2 after 2, end up blowing the lead giving up the tying goal with 3 min left. Of course they win in shootout..I was too greedy not to take the +120, didn't have one fukking dollar on it.
Of course even worse was Sunday night when edm tied it up late then won it with 0.7 sec left to bury me..Comment -
I saw the game...I had Alabama (-7.5)...very fortunate to get the cover...basically because the Crimson Tide nailed their free throws down the stretch when it counted...but both of us got screwed badly....in your case, even with the 9 point lead, there was no need to throw the ball down the court and for Alabama to score a last second lay up as time expired and with me there was no need for the Yellow Jackets to foul DOOK down by 6 with 0:04 seconds left because the game was over at that point...I feel your pain brother...Originally posted by Regul8er

OP's beat was way worse. Both hurt. Guys in college fouling down 6 (or more) with seconds left happen all the time - it's dumb, it sux.
There were four seconds left. Writing it as 0:04 doesn't make it worse.Comment -

I’m still not completely recovered mentally from the Baylor beat last Monday. 7-0 run by Kansas in last minute, punctuated by a buzzer heave 3 off the glass...to lose by the hook. Losses normally don’t get to me, but of course that was my biggest wager of the season so far
