    Okay, Abe's fresh betting thoughts
A question? I find it hard enough to respect but a few Books, but the idea, "you cannot by a 1/2 point on the second half of a college basketball game," just irritates me. Why not?
As usual, the Books have the edge, I mean they always have the big edge when you wager your bucks. It seems just too much they would not allow that on the West Virginia game last night, and yes, I lost by ONE 1/2 point.

The one, somehow, I could not buy?

    I was on wv-1.5 too

It was a bad bet just admit it, texas tech should have won (and did of course)

what you need to do it look at the 2nd half numbers on side and total, then go to live betting and you can most of the time get the add 1/2 or more, in other words if you like a side or total, go to live betting at the half and look at it too....

My book allows me to buy points, maybe get a better book????

You couldn't buy half a point on wv-1.5 full game, or second half?

If so, it's the book's rules deal with it.

Mine doesn't allow (always?) me to parlay live lines. Pussies.

            Is this pre match?

Not sure any sports are offered with alt 2nd half totals pre game, are they?

Good thinking. This just tells you, to win in sports gambling, you can hardy blink until you see you have the best possible bet wager you need or want. It's a business and you better know this business as thorough as possible. I blinked last night and lost by a whisker.
Not much loot, but who likes to lose when you know it's likely your fault?

Actually, it was the first half. Did I forget to say that? And to be honest, I should not have been close to winning the first half.
Got the tie on a last second bucket I believe.
The second half, I was scared off because of the TT-points.

You may be right. They were not on that game, or the first half either. Yeah, why not the first half? Seems I have played buying points before, on halves? Heck, maybe I haven't but why do they not offer?

                      Well, one last reply.
I believe I was used to buying on college/pro football so often, I assumed it would be the same with college baskets.
                      Problem solved, time being.
I would rather play the ranked teams, therefore, I had more interest last night.

                        Wrong again

I am afraid I need my fresh 27 year old brain again?
I just played the first half of a college basketball game...and bought points.
So, this proves, either, some Books are simply bolder and have less strict betting rules, or, some games like the IU game, they sometimes simply balk on?

It's best to learn what Book offers routinely and the ones that do not.
You better get all the edges you may need because those giveaway losses can ruin the best of gamblers.
