IMO Pedersen did a God awful job there.
I understand there was a tug of war between Pedersen and Roseman (GM/VP) about power but still....

I live in NFC East country, I see all the Washington, and Philly, and my beloved Giants games.
Every time (about six games I watched this season) I watched the Eagles they were always committing unacceptable penalties.
Every time I said to myself "those stupid penalties stem from lack of self discipline, and that starts from the top on down"|
Meaning Pedersen.

That Sudfield decision was a disgrace to all us Giants fans and to the NFL too.
That decision had to help push him out the door, that and the four win 11 loss season too.

Anybody can get a head coaching position these days. There is no excuse for these hires to be unheard of and get a sacred nfl head coaching job. So coaching philip rivers and having an average offense and no division titles is an expressway to a head coaching job in Philly. Philly needs a coach with head coaching experience. When it goes downhill in Philly it goes downhill fast. The players even quit in Andy Reid’s last 2 years.

It's rare for a receiver to be picked in the top 10 that isn't a physical specimen(Calvin johnson, Fitzgerald, Keyshawn johnson, AJ Green types). I could be wrong but wonder if NFL GMs will worry about his thin frame.

Doesn’t look good for minority hires. Can’t even fake like minority head coaching hires are taken seriously. The best thing to do is to make the Rooney Rule require each team to interview ONLY minority candidates. That way fewer coaches would be fired and there won’t be any new hires for years to come.
