    Caris Levert Out Indefinitely
Statement from the Indiana Pacers on the status of Caris LeVert:
Caris LeVert will be out indefinitely after an MRI revealed a small mass on his left kidney during a physical prior to finalizing the four-team trade with Brooklyn, Houston and Cleveland. LeVert will undergo further medical tests and more details will follow as needed.

    Statement from Caris LeVert:
"On behalf of my family and myself, we want to thank the Indiana Pacers for their support and guidance. We are grateful for their extreme thoroughness during the physical process and I am looking forward to joining the team and being part of this great organization as soon as possible."

Statement from Pacers President of Basketball Operations Kevin Pritchard:
"We acquired Caris because of who he is as a young man first and foremost. His basketball skill and on court play speaks for itself and we know he has a great career ahead of him. We will support Caris through this time and know that he will join us on the court as soon as he is able."

However, an additional second-round pick and cash are being sent to Indiana due to an issue discovered in LeVert’s physical, per Charania, requiring the trade to be formally completed as a four-teamer.

In addition to Oladipo and a 2023 second-round pick (from the Rockets), the Pacers are also receiving cash and a 2024 second-round pick, says Charania. That additional pick, which is coming from Cleveland, was originally supposed to land with the Nets.

Per RealGM’s list of traded picks, the two picks headed to Indiana will technically be the least favorable of Houston’s, Dallas’, and Miami’s 2023 second-rounders; and the least favorable of Cleveland’s and Utah’s 2024 second-rounders.

The trade should be voided. Robert Horry failed a physical and had to return to Houston. Let’s run the beard back to Houston so he can get his ass kicked by his teammates.

Let’s start allowing broken players to be traded all the time then. Let players who are traded in the future play in the games since being hurt doesn’t matter to the receiving team anymore. Sitting players before they are traded never made any sense to me. Get hurt playing for “us”, but don’t get hurt before going to “them”.

They sent an additional second round pick?

They shouldn’t even have a second round in the draft. These guys are useless.

You think if Caris had a quarter for every time people thought his name was Chris he'd have at least a dollar?
