ESPN picks this guy for college basketball POY
He gets all the publicity a big man needs, so, ESPN may be right?
And he's on a team that allows him to shine and use all the tools he has, and like I said, his tools are better honed this year and his three shooting was weirdly, not expected.
Being 6-11 and 265 sure helps. too.

With that publicity and stats like this: He is the big favorite. Can I bet on it somewhere?

    PTS 27.6
    REB
    8.6
    AST
    1.5
    FG%
    62.7
    3's ..48.9%

Even Suggs and his 2 other team studs will probably only come close?

It will probably be Garza. He’s a feel good story being a senior on a team you don’t think of when it comes to college basketball.

Iowa has been top 5 in the nation all year, lol... Garza is POY, no doubt. Maybe someone takes a flier on him as a first round NBA pick, but most likely a second rounder. Watching him play every year and the improvements he has made I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a career in NBA. He has an amazing motor and work ethic, just rather slow and won’t be able to guard anyone in the NBA.

huh? iowa has basically been top 5 all year and have already beaten 4 top 20 teams. garza was expected to be one of the best players coming into this season.

I agree. But 2nd round? How many are chosen of the first round? If it's 5 or more, then he definitely will be there.
Every team needs a clydesdale that is almost immovable close to the basket.
A bread & butter guy. He is part animal/part macho guy, so, NBA, make some room because he's coming.

Abe, I think you should watch a few NBA games first. I really hope he can play there and am a huge fan, but how does Garza score on Rudy Gobert? Or Karl Anthony Towns? These guys are just superior NBA athletes. I hope Garza proves me wrong!

He may need a couple years of seasoning?
But that body and touch is something you see not often. And he's clever, also.
