Another NC game, another rout. Once again Ohio State proved why the Big 10 Conference is so inferior to the SEC. The think that amazes me is that there were so many players on Ohio State in here. Ohio State had no chance. The game was over by halftime.
Before the season started I told everyone in here that Alabama would win the NC. NO questions asked. It was a very simple selection. The secret is NOT how many Conference Games that a team wins, it is how their Non-Conference record is. Perhaps this is a reason why the ACC lost all of their bowl games and the Big 12 won all of theirs.
It is way too early to start talking about the 2021-2022 season yet, but here is a little clue. Check the schedules out. The selection process will not change this season. Ohio State hosts Oregon and plays Penn State and at Michigan back to back. Alabama travels to Auburn, A&M and Florida. Advantage? You tell me. Some schools have soft schedules. Some have difficult ones. How about Clemson? They get Georgia to start the season in September. The odds favor the same old gang. Alabama is at +350. Both Clemson and Georgia are next at +400. Oklahoma and Ohio State is at +600. Either Clemson or Georgia get eliminated in week 1. Alabama does not win NC's when they travel to Auburn. People are looking for any excuse to eliminate Ohio State. OU wants revenge for being left out of this past seasons final 4. Out of this group, they look like the best choice this early.
