Smith will serve as a minor league coach within the organization, based at the club's player development facility in Fort Myers, Florida, and will work mainly with position players.

I have no idea how you inferred that from my statement. Try reading it again, then draw a correlation between the recent political movement/ pandering within sports industry to its undisputed free fall decline in viewership and sponsorship among its white male domestic audience.

Let me hold your hand a little further here... to "grow" domestically sports like baseball and basketball have to draw more viewership from minority segments such as women or blacks, or they have to unwind their progressive social messages. They are all dependent upon urban renewal and public money for their stadiums so that's not happening, hence we'll see more "equality & her time" messaging.

AND.....however, with the largest sports media outlet flagrantly "all in" on the social justice movement, and with no white protestant anchors anymore, we are left to watch a cast of minority females, blacks and a skinny jewish kid run the network while a pathetic lonely bald twink airs at night. All aimed to market the message and product to a predominantly african American community.

If the young lady is qualified and can motivate and improve a young athlete's performance and attitude, then I say "a salud ".

Being a women of whatever race is certainly not a reason to not be hired.

That's what most regular guys think.

But to be hired for a position of any kind BECAUSE of one's race or gender smacks of the very bias and bigotry the looney left thrives on accusing us of.

The BLM slogans of equality, social justice, ect is not antithetical to anyone I know.

But the implication that for anyone except White males, such equality and social justice is lacking is, (IMO) a crock of shit.

I thought I had passed the "social justice" sports narrative until today I saw another instance in college sports (I won't state it because I refuse to promote the narrative.) I'm looking for a new hobby. Fuk the atheletes. Play the game. Make your free speech statement off the field/court etc. If I'm goiig to be subjected to a social justice sermon for each game I try to watch...fuk it. I'll take up another hobby. And those who feel so oppressed should take up a better country. Try Sudan...I hear Darfur is an outstanding resort!
