Bowls have sucked pretty much every day. Friday will be good and Saturday should be a decent follow up. Kinda happy they are all during the day tomorrow

i read that Tulsa's defensive leader (big play guy who also calls all the on-field plays) opted out

also think Miss St has a decent edge at QB (Rogers has looked pretty decent) and their defense isn't too shabby either. of course Tulsa's D is their strength as well

sure wish Miss St was catching more pts, but maybe that's for a reason?

probably not going to play anything on that one pre-game, just some thoughts. you locked in anything yet for tmrw?

I do, Indiana will score but I think ole miss likely keeps the game close

Not yet, Ball state can score 10 is a lot of points, the Tulsa Mississippi state game interests me, their is almost always a premium in the betting market to bet on sec teams during bowl time, sometimes it’s justified, sometimes not

yeah the Over in Ball/SJ has been getting steamed a bit

looks like MSU/Tulsa could have some weather issues, more reliance on the run games perhaps and the game's on grass too. the Under has already had the life sucked out of it though and both defenses have been solid against the run too. tough game to call, might be a field position battle throughout decided by turnovers

2 things that would concern me backing Tulsa is their coaching/playcalling (hard to trust) and their possible lack of motivation. they fought so hard at Cincy in the AAC Title Game... and now face a 3-7 team. i think Miss St might be happier playing in this game after facing a 10-game SEC slate?

I think Tulsa will be motivated, they get to play an sec team and it’s a New Year’s Eve bowl. They also had a good season and I think they will want to finish strong.

Yeah agree weather should favor Tulsa since state passes much more.

yeah you're probably right, the G5 conference teams generally do like taking their shots against SEC schools when given the chance, especially if it's an SEC team they believe they can beat

i'm wondering if Army's starting QB Anderson is out?.. he got banged up a bit against Air Force and was replaced by the backup. the backup Tyler functioned pretty much the same though and put up similar numbers on the ground
