Also a ND-Clemson rematch would make most sense because they’d be at 1-1 against each other on the year. So you could say let them play a grudge match to figure it out. I just can’t see A&M or Ohio State moving past 4.

I hate rematches in the same conference. Win your conference championship. That’s your playoff. How do we know that ND and Clemson are the top teams in the country? Especially when they didn’t play any OOC games? Remember the year OSU and Michigan were considered the 2 best teams in the world? 2006? They both got their asses kicked in the bowls. Absolutely slaughtered. I think the committee should always try to have just one team from every conference and some years have an AND one play in if there’s teams that are similar. So this year, I would take the winners of the championship games and have let’s say OU play Oregon as a play in, but also allow non P5 teams so maybe OSU/ NW would play Cinci as a play in and Bama and let’s say ND would have a bye week. Some years you may or may not need a play in and some years you may need 2 play ins and on occasion there could be 3 playing but very rare.

Sometimes it really looks like multiple kids are on the take. Fields, then the kicker choking, now OSU defenders with wtf penalties to keep NW drive going, although NW play calling is horse shit. This game is starting to smell fishy.
