I checked previews, went to both team websites, and still have no idea WHY these teams
are playing in South Dakota. Is it to keep their fans away ? Nobody is allowed to attend this game.

The Pentagon in Sioux Falls usually has a couple of non-conference, Power 5 game a year and this is one of them. They hosted the former Battle 4 Atlantis this year. I think six of the eight teams dropped out, but they still had the tournament. It really is becoming one of the premier venues for basketball across the country.

Obtained the contract for Saturday's Iowa-Gonzaga basketball game. Hawkeyes are getting a $150,000 guarantee from Sanford for this, plus $15,000 to be used to charter a flight to and from Sioux Falls.

It was a great idea to bring a big time sporting event for this locale to see.

Not sure the rationale on why it was worth it for Iowa to bring it here unless maybe there was no home and home agreement and just one game possible.

Everything looks like Under for this game, glad i'm not the only ones sitting here scratching my heads wondering why they are looking at a 87-82 game with two good teams playing each other. This feels SAFE.
