do you bet the NBA just based on numbers/modeling or do you use feel/eye test? reason i ask is because i've tried watching maybe 3 or 4 games so far this year and i just couldn't stand them for longer than 5 mins. i just look at final scores now and maybe click on a few boxscores along the way at best.

i mean the league's been terrible for a long time, but it's shocking just how horrible and low-tier the product has become. i hate every single thing about the league and what it stands for. and watching makes you feel like such a low-IQ monkey. i've gotten to the point of pretty much hating all the players and teams except maybe for the Suns. i'm not a Suns fan, just see them as the only relatively likable team with a coach i really respect. i use to like the Jazz but they always choke so i'm done hoping for them.

I use a combination of methods, mostly focusing on matchups and situations, I don’t use modeling or stuff like that.

I watch a lot of condensed games, where they show almost every scoring play on about 10 minutes.

The league seems to be as about as talented as it has been in a long time with several good teams.

The problem is that Silver has allowed to players to have wayyyyy too much power.

It’s cool to make it a player’s league but when you have guys like Harden and Irving just not showing up to work and ignoring their contract..it’s not a good look.

Likewise, on any given night players might just decide they don’t want to play for some political reason.

Imagine if a normal person just didn’t show up to work because they were mad at some political thing?

Starting taking money away from the players when the so this stuff and I bet they stop.

Im an advocate of players having a voice and speaking out but some of it has gone to far. I mean, if they want to go missing for a few weeks like Irving did...that’s their right, just don’t be surprised when ratings are horrible and people quit watching.
