#2If I was an athlete's agent... I'm all for the sure thing at the current time. No need to think 3-4 years down the road... Get it now... Lock it in.
I really don't know what he was waiting for? Odd to me.Comment -

#3It’s good for the nba, we don’t need weak players who just want to play in super teams. Getting rid of Bledsoe was key, Holliday is a big upgrade, Bledsoe can’t shoot.Comment -

#5not surprising. wouldn't read too much into it though, he could simply demand a trade down the line. contracts mean very little in the NBA now. doesn't mean i want to see the Bucks lose him because i don't, just being matter of factComment -

#6you can’t demand a trade without leverage and signing a long term deal like this gets rid of most of his leverage.Originally posted by Orbisonnot surprising. wouldn't read too much into it though, he could simply demand a trade down the line. contracts mean very little in the NBA now. doesn't mean i want to see the Bucks lose him because i don't, just being matter of factComment -

#7he could force his way out by next summer if he really wanted to. probably won't, doesn't seem like the type at all but definitely could. 2 years out from now if the Bucks still haven't won it, look out..Comment -

#13They are, but that monster salary is a difficult fit. Heard it would cost Middleton, Lopez, Donte, plus some #1 picks which the Bucks are short on right now. Unlikely but who knows...Originally posted by HmanHe should have demanded they get him some help.

#15Agree - Biggest need is obviously outside shooting. Has to be an option less expensive than Harden.Originally posted by pologqthat is a lot. not worth it at the current point imo.Comment -

#17They both need each other thoughOriginally posted by asiagamblerI don't think they like each other and I doubt Harden wants to be in Milwaukee anyway
Not many other options out there.
Kyrie Irving's selfishness kept Harden out of going to Brooklyn
Too bad the Clips can't find a way
I'd love for someone to form a team to knock Lebron & AD offComment -

#18Well I don't think Harden wants to be on a team unless there is no doubt he is the #1 guy. He won't be that playing with GiannisOriginally posted by HmanThey both need each other though

#19Good move for NBA. Keeps a midwestern team relevant.
KAT in MN, Guannis in MIL....if Chi can get a star then you'd have a regionally relevant NBA across America. Very marketable to China/ EuropeComment -

#24eye test Id rather have holiday too but holiday's shooting percentage is only better in the 3 pt department and only 2% better 2 pt percentage and ft's bledsoe is betterOriginally posted by thomorinoIt’s good for the nba, we don’t need weak players who just want to play in super teams. #25It's what makes the NBA so awful (among many things). No matter how well you draft, how much you pay, if you're a small market said superstart is "not happy" and wants out, goes to a super team/big city, rinse and repeat.Originally posted by thomorinoIt’s good for the nba, we don’t need weak players who just want to play in super teams. Might as well just have 6 teams in the league.
Plauyers like Harden, who want out 3 years early (and disappear in the playoffs), can just sit then. Until owners start taking a stand it'll never change.Comment -

#26I've never agreed with anything non sports related that morino has said, but this is the POTM at a minimum. I've been saying this for years. It's just unwatchable. I'm shocked and happy I saw this headline today.Originally posted by thomorinoyou can’t demand a trade without leverage and signing a long term deal like this gets rid of most of his leverage.Comment -
