Anyone else get the feeling or ESP that when McSorley went down and right before commercial they showed Jackson running out of the locker room that they would have the good story for the win? because there was defensive holding on that play and the refs are still reviewing the play. They may have to bring them back out tomorrow for one last play.

Any time the trailing team has the ball at their own 20 yard line... college or NFL... I always grind my teeth... because as you just said... here comes that lateral bullsh#$. I always think the worst case scenario... because I've seen it so many times in 20 years. They knew they were just going backwards... not one dude wanted to run forwards lol

This drives me crazy, too. The pitch play has zero chance to work there. You throw the hail mary, you can get a tipped ball, bad penalty like a face mask, PI, roughing the passer (remember Rogers in Detroit) or some type of catch and run. Still unlikely, but you give yourself at least some hope.
