I try to explain to my relatives who live in California how open Iowa has been.Right now all Bars and Resteraunts are 50% capacity. You have to wear a mask inside if you have 25 or more people.I believe 2000 are admitted to Iowa St Basketball,25000 For Football.No fans in Iowa I think. WE Have been wide open since may 15.casinos opened in Late June. We do have a midnight to 6am Curfew. Governor to reevaluate next week.I love my move to Iowa in 2003 and I have loved every minute of it.Best Move ever.Weather is not all that great but im inside person anyway.

It's certainly MUCH better living there now than 40 years ago....................at least cable tv/sat tv, internet, smartphones now....................not to mention casinos AND sportsbooks

In addition, the snow isnt quite as bad as 40 years ago, and also vehicles are made much better.

Yep masked up when they walk in door than a whole different story once let in. Sneaking smokes in bathroom stall when you know you are not allowed to smoke. This is as clientele of a casino. To answer the poster above I moved to Madrid Iowa from Phoenix.I was a pro Horseplayer from 91 till 02.When I went back to Risk Management and working from Home.Now I do part time work and bet sports with it being legal in Iowa now! Horse playing got too tuff with takeout and short fields.Also Turf Paradise took away my favorite wager ever the Twin Trifecta man did I make money with that wager.

MGM came out of nowhere and got a license they already have the casino up and running online sports a couple weeks


There’s ways to team up with a property and get a license MGM somehow is affiliated with penn gaming as far as Pennsylvania and qualified for a license
