Week after week I hear about excuses about bad oline and poor receiver play.
Wentz is awful. Bottom 3 QBs in the league.
There is no debate. He is done.

He's the same QB he was three years ago; no difference except the team around him.

someone has to go wentz or pederson, they just don't fit together, and with wentz contract likely he's staying, fire the gm and coach draft sign trade for some o line help and how bout a nice wide receiver or 2 who can get some separation

Hurts is a better fit. The line is bad and receivers below average. Cant have a sitting duck back there tossing it around.

i really think pedersen is gone unless they find a team that will take wentz and his massive salary and they let pedersen stay with hurts. they say pedersen wants to go somewhere where he has personnel control.

Philly is always playing from behind. That starts with the quarterback. Wentz is the problem.

Also just goes to prove that qb’s from Division 1 subdivision schools are mentally, physically weaker than the Fbs qb’s

not as many that's for sure. I feel bad for Wentz - he's running for his life out there on every play. Monday is always over reaction day so I thought I would just play along. Goff is still not as good as his record and Wentz isn't as bad as his.

So, what happened? Coach brilliantly helps his team win the Super Bowl. Did he suffer brain damage? Get hit in the face with a scoop shovel?
The problem is not with the coaches and players they do have / the problem is the talent they no longer have. So, what you guys are saying is that with the current talent that they need a running QB like the Ravens,Houston, Cardinals, etc. Wentz does not fit?
This is a beautiful chance to work Jalen Hurts in a little bit here and there / If the Saints can make it work with their guy Hill/Brees never complained about it. Try it a little more and find out while you can in a busted season.

Wentz is a turnover machine. The problem is they owe him alot of money over the next couple years, so how can they bench him??

Not the same - Confidence is obviously shot. Making inaccurate throws he never would have made during his MVP run which seems like 10 years ago now...

Nex gen stats put Carson wentz's protection time at 4.88 seconds which is well above average and in the upper tiers of the NFL.

Philadelphia doesn't know how its quarterback situation will play out, and doesn't know what the future holds for Wentz. But the Eagles are on the clock, in a sense, to decide Wentz's immediate future with the organization.
The Eagles must make a decision by the second day of the 2021 league year -- sometime in mid-March -- because on the third day of the league year, Wentz's $22 million base salary for 2022 becomes fully guaranteed and his 2021 roster bonus of $10 million also is paid out.
The Eagles could cut Wentz and designate him as a post-June 1 release. In this case, they still would owe him his 2021 salary of $25.4 million -- $15.4 million base salary and a $10 million roster bonus. Wentz's total cap hit would be $59.21 million, but if he is designated as a post-June 1 release, the Eagles would be allowed to spread the cap charge over two years.
Philadelphia also could trade Wentz -- and if the Eagles complete a trade before the third day of the 2021 league year, they would not owe him his $10 million roster bonus and the team that acquires him would take on his $25.4 million salary.
The Eagles then would be on the hook for $33.82 million worth of salary-cap charges -- $9.27 of signing bonus pro-ration and another $24.55 of guaranteed money from 2022-2024. They could not use a post-June 1 designation on a trade to spread out any cap charges. One NFL executive told ESPN this past week that the best of these scenarios might be to trade Wentz and eat the accelerated guarantees.
Even though the Eagles have benched Wentz, the organization is still standing behind him, as was evident this past week when veteran team leaders Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce voiced their support for him publicly.

In 2020, Wentz will earn a base salary of $1,383,000, a roster bonus of $8,000,000 and a signing bonus of $30,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $18,656,536 and a dead cap value of $77,877,152.
