#4hahaha. Did you write that? There were a lot of bad spot calls in Philly's favor. A lot of calls in Seattle's favor too. PI's and non, obvious, holding calls on run plays in 1st halfComment -

#7I can only imagine that to everyone who had -6.5, it was like a kick in the nuts.
I was just damn lucky enough to have -5.5 on a small bet otherwise, I would have felt cheated as well.Comment -

#8I had -5.5, -5 & -6 luckily. It did seem real weird to go for two there.
That said, the Seahawks had some shit play calling last night as well.
Didn't Wentz not even reach the line of scrimmage one time on his pass?Comment -

#13These wild finishes will get more common as more states allow gambling.
What started in soccer in other 3rd world countries is becoming the norm in the NFL.
I don't know how much security can Eagles coach afford but don't be surprised if he is taken out by a deranged bettor for what he did. Karma will always get you when you expect the least.Comment -

#14Teams down 14 in the 4th quarter have gone for 2 points multiple times this year. The analytics is actually why they have started doing it.Comment -

#18these crazy and in other games shady outcomes very late in games that affect spreads are why guys like Otters parlay together a ton of MLs and big MLs at that... so they don't get screwed
but then they get screwed worse when Oklahoma loses as a 30 pt favorite early in the season
gambling is toughComment -

#22Did he really say I studied analytics. He is wrong it is mathematically correct to go for 2 this is the Darrell Royal theory invented in 1969 in the game of the Century. Seattle was -5 most of the week only suckers laying 6.5Comment -

#24You so called experts saying this was the right call with 4 seconds left you would have cussed on the coach if you had Eagles +7.5 and he went for 2 and didn't score instead of kicking the extra point to cover.Comment -

#30NFL states games "are for entertainment purposes only" thus can't be held liable suspect officiating.
The whole weekend was marred by late game shenanigans to affect the number... Jags, Bengals, Bucs, and Eagles being the beneficiaries. Seahawks backers had plenty of opportunity to buy a winning number earlier in the week, though. If you make a habit of taking the worst of the number, you only have yourself to blame when it backfires.Comment -

#35To be fair doesn't that happen a decent amount going for two there? Especially a team desperately looking for a win. I mean essentially the games over anyway, but you hit the 2pt conversion get special teams maybe 10% more motivated to get the ball and bang hail mary for the win.
NFL has the sharpest lines in world sport by far it's not surprising that these kind of things happen a few times a season. Wouldn't of heard about it if it was buried in the Sunday schedule though. *cough* I'll never get over that intercept somehow touchdown in the green bay/seattle game a few years back ha!
*And daggles thank you for editing 'A Concerned Fan' from 'Mase of Base' I appreciate that.Comment
