no, if a tie at the top, each gets = cut of 1st and second place pts, with payouts the same below....

same as if there's a tie between 2nd and 3rd...... first would get first place points, the tied teams at second split 2nd and 3rd place point payouts, and 4th (technically 3rd)still gets fourth place points.
