NFL Closing All Facilities For Two Days
Just what do they expect to accomplish with a 2 day shutdown? It's like thery are embarrassed with how they are handling the Ravens/Steelers game and want to save face with a pointless action.

NFL closing team facilities Monday and Tuesday amid coronavirus spike, holiday guests
The NFL is closing team facilities to in-person activities Monday and Tuesday, with exceptions for teams playing games and essential medical treatment and rehab.

Team facilities will be closed to all in-person activities Monday and Tuesday, the NFL said Friday in a leaguewide memo. The ban does not apply to teams scheduled to play on Monday or Tuesday.

The NFL cited the spike in coronavirus cases around the country as well as the "understanding that a number of players and staff celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday with out-of-town guests" as reasons for closing facilities.

All activities will be conducted virtually except essential medical treatment and rehab, according to the memo...

    For 2 days?

Do they even know what a corona virus is, novel or not?

what I can't figure out is WTF is the goddamn protocol for cancelling and/or postponing games as opposed to rescheduling or moving it back a few days?...they've been very inconsistent in this matter...We've already seen some Broncos games cancelled, Titans games cancelled, etc. but yet they are still playing the Ravens-Steelers game despite all of the covid problems that have decimated the Ravens?...why?

Thank goodness... We can't have anymore player deaths from this pandemic. We must error on the side of caution. If we continue to play football games like there's nothing to worry about, you can expect player/coach/staff deaths to multiply by 100 or something like that.

Now off the top of my head I don't know what 100 x 0 is but I can get a calculator and find out.

WE MUST CURTAIL THE DEATH TOLL!

          It's all about TV revenue.

          Period.

The owners would rather collect the TV paycheck and play the Ravens practice squad against Pitt than any other option.

They know viewers will watch anyway, even if the Broncos play a practice squad WR or RB as QB.

          It's both sad and embarrassing.

Stop testing..and just play the games
99 percent of these athletes show no signs of covid. False positives all over the place and dumb contact tracing.
            Enough of the bullshit

Covid Mania is far more contagious and destructive than the actual virus.

I think people who spend their time dreading something so impotent should just be euthanized and removed from their own misery.

Game being pushed back day to day.

At this rate the Ravens may need to play a day night double header with the Steelers and cowboys next week

                    This

Although I believe the virus is a threat to many, we also have to understand that the NFL and every other sports league should have had enough common sense going into all of this to know that there would be obstacles, but if they were going to make a go of it and start at all, agree to play through it.
