I just withdrew and deleted DK (a whopping 150 bucks). DFS is a suckers bet if there ever is one.

Does anyone else have any other vice other than sports? Ex. Roulette, Blackjack, etc.

If so, what do you do to curb the impulse to partake?

i love actual casinos. i would go weekly if i had a lot of disposable income. love the action, the room, the pool, the restaurants, the atmosphere, etc. i put money in savings and investments instead. seeing those grow is rewarding.

i keep myself busy honestly with walks/jogs, exercise routines & video games. they help a lot. i also like watching movies.

as long as i have a little action on sports my "degeneracy" is satisfied.

I'm with ya there. I like the action. I've started collecting sports cards again as a hobby. Somewhat of an investment I guess. If shit ever hits the fam, I can off that.

Used to be a real party machine. Talking 3-4 day benders, $10k+ Nightclub tabs, even more burned on strippers, whores and just garbage. Invincible feeling and then go torch some more cash and blackjack, roulette or making bad bets. I’m just tired at this point. Had an episode where I torched through about $55k, looked up and didn’t know a single loser drinking on my tab, strippers everywhere, blow, Molly all over the place and that was about it.... still have had a bender here and there but nothing like that. Don’t plan to do that deal again.

after you have that down to a tee...... Buy the book Million Dollar blackjack by Ken uston.

Read the book..... Learn to count a deck out in 30 seconds or less. You should be able to do this is about 2-3 weeks.. practicing daily for a few hours.


Once you can get the running count down to 30 seconds then you can start practicing on the true count.

Once you get the true count down the next step is to find local b and m casino that is still running blackjack from a shoe not an automatic shuffle machine.

If you can get anything better then a 2 deck penetration you will be able to have success.

If you can't find any 6 or 8 (8 is ideally better) deck shoes with less then 2 decks cut out in your area forget about it

so maybe look around first before wasting your time.
