can't figure out these teams week after week

i take the browns thinking they will cover -6 against the jags with glennon and lose on a backdoor td

They were up 8 with 5 mins left and had the ball in the red zone. Instead of kicking the FG and make it a 2 possession game, they go for it on 4th and of course fail. There is no possible explanation for this. Jags of course score the TD however ensure they don't convert the 2 point conversion. This is worse than WWE.
