          What's just as amazing is Randy Johnson didn't get picked until the second round.
          (A lot of organizations thought he was too thin)

              MONTREAL was the king of drafting weird lefties. I was in their system and got a chance to catch Cliff Lee in Jupiter FL. Look at how fukked up Cliff Lee's draft stuff was. 20th round lol. Guy was best pitcher in mlb for 5 years.

              Johnson had zero pitching ability beyond straight heat. Wasnt till Montreal brought him to that sweep motion / slider/ curve to pitch he became effective. At one time the big unit was a straight over the top guy....go figure

                I was an NCAA catcher to small to go any further.
                Used to love to catch lefties, a good southpaw could put a hitter in a funk for a week.
